Ceramic materials collected are thoroughly cleaned, sanded and sealed.
Every shard is dated, when and how found, and any relevant information recorded.
The entire process is a creative experience from discovery to final piece.
Nothing planned or preconceived.
All materials personally collected from river banks, charity shops,
roadside, woods, recycle centres, beaches,
wherever dropped, dumped or donated.
Jewellery pieces are varied and completely unique.
The idea is to create something new from old.
The finished piece isn't meant to be perfect or highly polished.
Instead, retain some of the original character.
Any marks or scratches reflect the age and journey of the material.
All packaging is made from 100% recycled materials.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue.
Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry.
